Monkey Bay’s Campus

Centrally located in the heart of the country, our main campus is ideally positioned and equipped to serve as a home base for your study abroad experience.  The campus itself is situated within the 1060 acres of land managed by Monkey Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, located in the Maya Forest Corridor - a critical connection of protected land between the Maya Mountains of Southern Belize and the Selva Maya of Belize, Guatemala, and Mexico.

The campus utilizes sustainable practices in rainwater catchment tanks for drinking water, and rainwater catchment ponds for utility water. We use grid-tied solar power energy on sunny days to power the campus. We also have a Biogas Composting Latrine that is used to create nutrient rich compost.  The vision of the Monkey Bay Wildlife Sanctuary Managing Directors, with the help of our dedicated team, has transformed this campus from a rustic campground to a fully fledged education facility.
